Portageville’s residents enjoy outdoor activities such as tennis, general recreation, volleyball, swimming, and picnics in one of the four parks that are located in the Community. Portageville hosts several parades and festivals throughout the year. The Portageville Library has seen recent renovation and activities are periodically scheduled. Fishing and hunting are mainstays of Portageville’s recreational opportunities.
